adult day support PROGRAM

This program is offered to you in partnership with Alberta Health Services.  This program provides activities for clients and respite for caregivers.

Structured with activities designed to:

• focus on abilities
• enhance mind, body & spirit
• promote fun, enjoyment & socialization
• address emotions & behaviors such as sadness, boredom, restlessness, anxiety and agitation through ongoing validation

Enjoy group activities such as:

• mental aerobics
• music
• crafts
• cooking and gardening
• physical games

This program is is held at the RCHHS office (5025 55 St.) and is designed to meet the needs and abilities of each individual. Lunch and nutritious snacks are provided. Clients will be assessed by Home Care nurses who will establish a specific care plan and a customized program.
