Rimbey Food Bank

About the Food Bank

About the Food Bank

About the Food Bank

If you are experiencing food insecurity we are here to help you.  Please reach out and we will confirm qualification.

Our Food bank is staffed by volunteers, and as they are not permitted to transport clients in their vehicles you will be asked to pick up your hamper.

Our volunteers are valuable to us and we ask that you respect the time that they are dedicating to our community by being on time to pick up your  hamper.

Community food banks are a testament to the power of unity and compassion. Every contribution, big or small, makes a world of difference to those in need.

"Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much." - Helen Keller

Request a Hamper

About the Food Bank

About the Food Bank

For New Clients
If you are requesting a hamper for the first time, you can call us at 403-843-2030 ext. 2. We will soon have an online form as a registration option as well. The form will help us gather the basic information we need to get started, but calling works too if that’s easier for you.

For Returning Clients
If you’ve received a hamper in this calendar year, you only need to call us at 403-843-2030 ext. 2 to request another one. No need to fill out the form again.

When you call please leave your name and phone number, someone will call you back to confirm your request.

Once we've spoken to you and you are given a pick-up time by our intake worker, please head to the Food Bank at the scheduled time to collect your hamper.

Hamper day is Wednesday, we would prefer that you call to book your hamper by 2:30 on your regular Tuesday  to ensure we get your message on time.

Who We Serve

About the Food Bank

Who We Serve

Our food bank welcomes everyone from different walks of life. This includes families with children, hardworking individuals whose wages don't stretch far enough, folks on social assistance, and Canadians on a fixed income like seniors and people with disabilities.

If you’re looking to help, donations of food or money can be brought to the Rimbey FCSS office in the Provincial Building during office hours.

Donations of $20 and more receive a tax receipt.

Together, we can support our community and make a real difference.
