Art Full Minds
- Description: Help participants with cognitive impairment use their imagination to create beautiful pieces of art. No artistic ability required - only a love for providing gentle support as the artwork is created. You will be guided by a trained facilitator as you support your partner. If you enjoy helping others and seeing a work of art evolve, this is sure to make you smile.
- Time Commitment: A 5-week commitment, once per week for 2 hours.

- Description: Are you a person with experience representing diverse members of our community? We need your thoughts and experience to guide the Rimbey Community Home Help Services Association in new directions. It is our goal to truly reflect all demographics in our community and so we are seeking the right person to bring this perspective to our passionate Board team. Join us!
- Time Commitment and special requirements: 2-5 hours per month, resident of the Town of Rimbey or West Ponoka County.

Board Leadership in Legal and Human Resources
- Description: Would you enjoy crafting human resource policies that align with current employment laws all as part of an enthusiastic leadership team? Are you a person with these skills to share or working on building experience in HR? Join our Board team to support a growing community service non-profit. As a member of the Rimbey Community Home Help Services Association Board, you will play a critical role in ensuring the resources are in place to support the people on the ground. Client Experience Evaluator
- Description: Interview community members to report on their experience as a home care client. This role is key to developing a care program that meets the needs of a client-centred approach. Be part of ensuring the people we serve receive high quality, meaningful care.
- Time Commitment: 12-15 per month for a 3-month period.
Drive Happiness Community Driver
- Description: Provide transportation to seniors in your community. This could include driving to appointments or helping with groceries while lending a friendly ear while driving. When you schedule drives is up to you and gas reimbursement is provided.
- Time Commitment and special requirements: At your convenience. 3-year clear driver’s abstract is required.
Emergency Response Reception Centre
- Description: Assist community members impacted by disasters or emergencies through work at a local reception centre. This work includes providing registration and communication paths as well as the necessities for life. Leadership and support positions available. This is highly, meaningful, front-line work.
- Time Commitment: As needed determined by incident occurrence. Short notice availability required. Advance training required.
Food Acquisition Specialist
- Description: Locally source and order food supplies at the best possible prices to ensure the Rimbey food bank is well-stocked and able to fulfill weekly hamper requests. Highly meaningful work that matches you with a fun-loving team.
- Time Commitment: 2-4 hours once a week, flexible within Thurs/Fri, support and relief available as necessary.
Special Events Support
- Description: Work on a wide variety of community events adding fun activities and valuable support to your local community. Senior, youth, family, and skill-building events included. Leadership and support positions available. Have fun working with a team that adds great value to the community.
- Time Commitment: 2-6 hours per month - support, 12 hours – leadership; based on planned event schedule. Various times of the year.
